How the seat works
One seat
justonespot has a single public listing. There is no leaderboard and no second place. The person who has paid the most currently holds the seat.
Bids
The first bid is $1. After that, a new bid must be at least $1 more than the amount the current holder paid. Whole dollars only.
What you may list
A website URL, and an optional name of 40 characters or fewer. Query parameters are stripped. Chat and invite links, NSFW listings, and URL shorteners are not allowed.
Payment and replacement
Checkout is processed by Stripe. The seat is granted only after payment succeeds, and only if the paid amount is still higher than the current bid at that moment. If someone else has already taken the seat for more, your payment does not grant the listing. We keep a short, unranked history of the last eight holders.
Removal
We may remove a listing that breaks these rules or applicable law. Holding the seat is not an endorsement.
